Hyperpolitics

In a newsletter today:

"Hyperpolitics is a new term defined by Anton Jäger as a period in which politics is highly visible but often fails to produce lasting organisational or political change. The former Brazilian secretary of justice Pedro Abramovay argues that living through a period of hyperpolitics has mobilised people into action, with Brazil’s recent election being a great example. “The challenge now is to harness that democratic energy and rethink how we govern,” he writes."
