I've long gathered from reporting by @michaelhobbes.bsky.social and others that Jesse Singal is incredibly loose with the facts. But I'm not an expert in the fields he usually digs into and so it has been hard for me to know just HOW off base he is. Now he's in my field, and MY GOD.
